The applicable partnership agreement and program rules define the responsibilities of Live and each approved partner.
Live Customs does not issue official charitable donation receipts. A qualifying charity is responsible for determining whether a gift qualifies for receipting and for issuing the receipt where applicable.
Partners remain responsible for their own legal, regulatory and organizational obligations. The applicable partnership agreement defines the responsibilities of Live and the partner.
Live collects and uses partner information for application, verification, administration, communications, reporting and other appropriate purposes described in its Privacy Policy.
Fundraising, gaming and other regulated activities can have provincial or territorial requirements. Partners are responsible for obtaining applicable licences and complying with applicable laws.
Nonprofit and community participation does not create registered charitable status or charitable receipting privileges.
Approved partnerships may require a written agreement covering the program, responsibilities, financial arrangements, marketing, privacy, reporting and termination.
Public-facing campaign language should accurately describe the participating organizations, purpose, funding or purchase model, and any applicable restrictions.
Where reporting is required, campaign activity and available outcomes should be documented according to the applicable agreement and reporting schedule.

No. A product purchase is not automatically a charitable donation. The applicable campaign terms and CRA requirements determine the treatment of a contribution.
